Clown Brigade

The Clown Brigade includes sponsors of the holiday parade as well as company executives and their families. Individuals from the public can participate at a minimal cost of $50 per adult and $25 per child. Clown costumes will be provided for adults and children and are yoursto take home.

Since the Oakland Holiday Parade’s inaugural year, Buki the Clown has painted magic into the day with her gifted touch of make-up and lively personality. On parade day, Buki will put the final touches on you, ensuring your complete transformation into a clown! Buki provides quick, easy-to-remember "how to be a clown" lessons and tips for "clowning around" with the kids and crowd. Prepare yourself to be transformed into a clown that is sure to bring smiles to everyone’s face along the parade route!

Note: The parade route is over one mile long, so if young children are to participate, red wagons are welcome to become part of the Brigade parade.
